Have you ever noticed how in America, we tend to assume that God is on our side? If we are at war, we pray assuming he is with us. I think it is interesting... i wonder what our "enemies" think or pray about?Ancient Hebrew literature talks about a man who petitioned God, asking him whether God was indeed on the man's side or on the side of his enemy. God replied neither.
He was on his own side.
